Excited to make a card for my middle son who will be 39 on Saturday. Wow! It astonishes me that we have had that many birthday celebrations...His own boys are growing so quickly and it all makes me proud and happy, but I feel a little old!
I used a new to me stencil that came in an order last week: Brutus Monroe Quilt Block. I used Distress Oxide inks: Speckled Egg, Tumbled Glass and Evergreen Bough, and rotated the stencil and inked again. The sentiment was cut from card stock I had inked with the same colors and a piece of vellum. It is a two piece CZ Design die.

What a pretty card! I love the color profile and the fun background pattern. That sentiment die just pops off the card! Thanks for sharing with us at Time Out Challenges!

Dena: Thanks for participating in MTTC's stencil theme for this fortnight! I love those different tones of seafoam green that you've used! And that the HB sentiment is lifted up from the surface! Great ideas! --Becca/DT for MTTC
