A Halloween Birthday

New sketch over at Sketch Saturday!!  I am late to the game this week because I have been a delegate at a 5 day virtual convention.  Wow!  Zoom all day for 5 days and I survived.  I admit to getting a bit of coloring done while listening to debates... I have two friends with birthdays on Oct. 31 so I made two of these. Inside it says Happy Halloween, Happy Birthday, Sweet Treats.

This is a marvelous sketch - quick and easy and very versatile.  Join us at Sketch Saturday. Our challenges are sponsored by Riley & Co.

Fall is My Favorite

Good Morning!  New sketch today at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge which runs from September 20-26th.

I was very literal with the sketch, but I am excited to see how some of the other crafters will interpret #439. My card was made mainly with Gina K stamps and inks using the smallest wreath builder. The sentiment is from Cocoa Daisy, gingham from MFT, and wood grain paper from the stash. A few of the cluster foliage pieces were cut with an Altenew set.

Play along, link up to AHSC so we can see your creations!

Hello for Sketch Saturday

My design card for this week's new sketch at Sketch Saturday.  Our weekly challenges are sponsored by Riley & Co.

I used dye inks on an acrylic block, misted with water, and then 'stamped' it on card stock.  I dried it and then stamped the feather image several times in black and fussy cut them out. I used the feathers to create the stacked portion of the sketch.

I hope you will try out the sketch and share with us at Sketch Saturday!

Feel Better Soon

Good Monday Morning!  Time for a new sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

I used some CTMH paper from my stash. The image is the Paint-A-Flower from Altenew, White Swan Echinacea, stamped in SSS Intense Black ink, colored with Copic markers, and fussy cut. The vase was made using a SSS egg shaped die cut twice and I hand-cut and shaped the top black part. The sentiment flag is from the same stamp set, heat embossed in white. 'HUGS' was cut with Altenew Fine Alphabet die set. I did take a few liberties with the sentiment section of the sketch...This mini slim-line card was cut using Gina K Master Layouts #7.

The card was made for my brother who is recovering from heart surgery.
