Copy Cat

Sometimes cards I see are just so pretty I have to make one myself! That is the case with these two cards today. The butterfly is a Lisa Stenz design completely - she used CTMH Pear, Sky and Sorbet inks and background paper from the Magnifique collection. The butterfly has been stamped twice and layered for the 'in flight' look. It is done with three inks sponged onto the stamp or 'rock and rolled'. My butterfly is not quite as pretty as hers.

The second card is a copy of one I saw on the CTMH BB and cannot find the pencil sketch I made with the artist's name :( I apologize. This sweet card uses the Petite Perks stamps, Blush and Tulip cardstock and inks, white grosgrain ribbon - all CTMH. My only addition to her design was to use the new CTMH spray pen on the card base. These are such fun and add subtle color and sparkle. I used Tulip reinker and a few drops of Pearl paint.

We had a good time making eight or nine different cards yesterday. Now I am taking a break from typing Civics and AP Gov finals....back to work.

  1. I love that new little stamp set and had to get one for myself! Awesome cards, definitely worth stamplifting!
