Meeow!
It is a big mess in my craft room as I am trying to go through the paper hoard collection!
After several hours of that yesterday, I felt the need to make something. Cleaning is just not as much fun after all. This card used papers from the heap, a fun image from Art Impressions (Big Mouth) colored with copics.

All you need is love!
I don't make many Valentine cards - grandchildren and a few precious friends. This week at Addicted to CAS, the word is RED, and so I took the opportunity to use a previously un-inked stamp
and it's matching Cricut cut ( CTMH Artiste cartridge) along with a couple of embossing folders. The stamped cut was popped with some foam tape.
It seems I have figured out how to enjoy this enforced downtime in the immobilizing sling and one-arm stamping. Craft room and Turner Movie Channel...life is good!
Freshly Made Sketches
I used several circles from an old CTMH set called Connections. It's one of those basic shape sets that is great to have on hand. I liked the look of the interconnecting circles on the sketch. The ones I chose were each inked on a pastel Kaleidacolor ink pad. The sentiment is from a CTMH mini. The lilac panel on the front is from coredinations, canvas texture. Twine from my stash.

Pals Paper Arts 284
I really like the fun of the offset panel in this sketch. I used a stitched die for the white panel because the patterned paper had a stitch, and then added stitching with a white gel pen on the blue circle. Paper is Close to My Heart, Confetti Wishes.

Cake first!
Addicted to CAS and Addicted to Stamps & More. The image was colored with Copics and a sparkle gel pen. The cake stand sparkles more than the photo really shows.

Let them eat cake!
This was a challenging sketch at Atlantic Hearts. I thought on it for quite a while, hoping to come up with a really unique way to deal with the rays....In the end, I used Thistle thick twine. I am still happy with this cheery card using Confetti Wishes paper. The card base was cut from Pacifica card stock, and I embossed a white panel with a Swiss Dots folder. The image and sentiment are from a CTMH retired set called Fanfare. I hand-cut the cupcake (Pacifica and Pixie inks), and it was popped with foam tape. Embellished with a shiny, puffy heart (CTMH) and white jell pen.
My shoulder surgery has kept me away for over a month. This week I began crafting again - slowly with one hand! Life is Good!

Hello
retrosketches #198 was just the thing! A while ago I experimented with a salt/watercolor technique, and set the piece aside to dry....last night, inspired by a beautiful color square stamped in black here, I stamped a mini from Close to My Heart on my dried watercolor and cut to a 2"x2". Then I was stuck.
This morning I decided to check challenge blogs and saw this sketch. It seemed just right for my little piece of work. I am reminded of how wonderful it is to have so much talent and inspiration waiting to help me along!!

Awesome friends
Long time away from posting here. I am still recovering from surgery on my right shoulder. That arm is in a immobilizing sling....which makes it pretty difficult to do much. I can use the hand a bit, and so I've found my way back to the craft room. Boy, is it ever slow to do things one-handed!!
I have been very spoiled and well cared for by a number of very awesome friends. They have cooked, cleaned, brought flowers, transported and watched over me so lovingly. I have some special notes to write.
This return is celebrated using the Painted Flowers stamp and die set from Altenew.
Sentiment stamp is Verve
Wire Fence embossing folder (Darice)
Inks and paper from Close to My Heart (Flirty collection now retired)
Sequins are Pretty Pink Posh
