My first grandchild graduated from high school this month! Honor Roll all four years, and we are so proud. I made this card using the school's colors. I saw a similar design on Pinterest, but made some alterations in size and wanted to add color. The number dies are from Altenew, and the stamps inside are Studio g I got on sale many years ago. I used gold embroidery floss to make my tassel.

Forever Postage
This is a very versatile sketch. It had me puzzled for a bit, but then had this idea. I sure hope you will visit Try A Sketch On Tuesday and see what the rest of Design Team has for your inspiration. And we hope you'll play along!
I love being able to use favorite scraps. These are papers from CTMH from the early 2000's because I hoard :-) I made four tiny envelopes, the stamps are all from Gina K Designs Postage & More set. The back panel was embossed with Altenew's Organic Linen folder.

Summer Sunshine
Hope you are anticipating a wonderful week!
The new sketch #582 at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge is my focus for today.
I have used Close to My Heart dragonflies from Gina K Designs, blueberries from Lisia Zgharda, the Square Weave stencil and a sentiment from PAF Sunflower - both Altenew, I colored with Copic markers and gave a shimmer to the dragonfly wings with Wink of Stella. Paper from my stash.

B is for Baby
Sunshine
Playing a bit today with a new to me Gina K Designs cover plate, two gel prints, and a Simon Says Stamp sentiment die. I did some paper piecing with the gel prints, and then used some left overs to create a banner inside. The inspiration to dig out these prints was from Cupcake Inspirations #596 Cupcake Inspirations #596 - "For the Guys" The colors from the photo were similar to my prints and I thought this would be a great design for a masculine card.

Sunset
This one was difficult for me - I really had to try out some masking skills, and discovered the need for a lot more practice.
I used all Gina K Designs products - masking Magic, inks, stamps from Harvest Silhouettes, and card stock.
Not my usual card at all, but it was fun trying!
Looking forward to seeing what everyone else creates with this sketch - I know I will be inspired.

Sweet Friend
Happy Monday morning!
Monday means a great new sketch at
Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
My Design Team card for this sketch uses some old, and some new to me items. The floral cluster, Pen Sketched Flowers from Altenew, was stamped and then very lightly colored with Copics. I used coordinating dies to cut. Using a masking circle I inked with Gina K Light Spruce ink. Then covered my circle and inked Gina K's Elegant Script Background. This was matted with a grey card 3.75 x 5" and popped up on the card base. I did sprtiz with sheer Shimmer and added a few clear sequins. The sentiment is from Altenew's Himalayan Poppy set.
I hope you will have some creative time this week and try out this sketch! See you on the blog :-)
