You are Awesome

A really simple and versatile sketch from                                                                                               Try A Sketch On Tuesday

My granddaughter has been loving theatre camps, and I made this card for her latest role in the spring production.  She is really a talented young lady - competitive gymnastics, painting, and theatre. A lovely, happy young girl. She makes my heart smile!

My card used a solid and patterned panel from Scrapbook.com Enchanted collection, a star die and some tiny star embellishments. The inside panel was cut with Hero Arts infinity dies and popped up, and it's a Hero Arts sentiment embossed with gold.

And if you would like some extra challenge to go with this, you should check out our sister-blog Double Trouble! It's a great 3-2-1- recipe, and lots of beautiful inspiration from their design team.

Gardenia Thanks

My design team card for the new sketch at

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

I used some papers from my scrap stash, and used Altenew's Build a Garden bundle Gardenias to stencil, stamp and cut the floral. The stitched debossed background is a die from Altenew. The sentiment is a Savvy die.

Pastel Z-fold

This is my Design Team card for challenge #668 at

Try A Sketch On Tuesday

I cut the card stock base 6.5" X 9.75", scored at 3.25 and 6.5, then cut at an angle. This slimline Z-fold when closed creates the angles in the sketch.  I used pastel papers from my stash pale yellow, pink and blue, and embossed with the Swiss Dot folder on the plain pink.

The flower cluster is from Altenew's Paint A Flower Daffodil set colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut. The sentiment stamp and die are Gina K Designs Handmade Holidays set.

I have also followed the 3-2-1 challenges at our sister blog Double Trouble #189.  It has been fun to combine these challenges.  Check out the fabulous inspiration of their Design Team.

Sure hope to see you link up at one or both. We love seeing your creations!

Nature's Frame

Using Spellbinder's Nature's Frame layered stencil and Gina K Design inks for this card. Inspired by two challenges below.   The ovals are from Gina K ML 1 , with a sentiment and floral from her Fluttering Fall set.

Atlantic Hearts #624

Good Morning!

Monday means another great sketch challenge at           Atlantic Hearts, and I have some Design Team inspiration for you today.  It's a wonderful sketch for using some pretty scraps.  My vertical strips are from some slivers of the prettiest paper in a SSS set a few years back.  The die cuts are from many sets in my stash - Altenew, Mama Elephant, Spellbinders and Waffle Flower!  And a sentiment from Gina K Designs. I pulled out a lot.

Hope you will head over to AHSC and join the challenge.

Spring Rain

A fun little card for the new challenge at                               Try A Sketch On Tuesday.

I really had to also use the challenge inspiration from       Double Trouble for this one as it isn't my usual kind of card. I have an umbrella, rainbow colors, water and boots in my scene! All  all the elements were found in a very old CTMH set that I colored and fussy cut, and I had a bit of fun covering the boots with packing tape to make them shiny.  There are clouds punched, and stenciled, and die cut flowers from Spellbinders.

Hope you will play along!
