My DT inspiration project for the new challenge #686 at
I admit this one really had me scratching my head...those squiggles... but you will find LOTS of great inspiration on the blog. Each of the Design Team had a different idea. So fun!
I used a Simon Says Stamp set Yarn Love that I've had for quite a while now. I inked with Gina K colors to match some twines I have. The back panel was embossed with Spellbinders Sweater Weather folder.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Leave a hello, and Hop on the challenge at TSOT so I can visit you.

Love the crazy embossed background and what a fun sentiment for your yarn theme and the yarn threads used for the squiggly in the sketch. Cool and fun card. You've met our DTC 3-2-1 ingredients and would love you to enter your cool, crazy and fun card to earn three chances in their random draw. Hope to see you there.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing at Double Trouble.
DeleteLove how you dealt with the lower half of the sketch with all the yarn pieces and needles! Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble :)
ReplyDeleteI guess yarn is like fabric, or paper, or any thing us crafters love to collect! Cute card, thanks for joining us at Double Trouble.
ReplyDeleteSo true... I love how you used real yarn on the card to go with the knitted and skein stamped images, very clever! It's a super fun card and you did a great job with the recipe and the TSOT sketch. Thank you for joining us at the Double Trouble challenge.
ReplyDeleteDena, what a super clever way to use the TSOT sketch, AND meet the Double Trouble 3-2-1 challenge! I love your use of texture on the background, which reinforces all the texture on you yarns. Adding the knitting needles as the "rays" is so darn brilliant!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, such a fun and unique interpretation of the sketch - love it!!! Thanks for sharing at Double Trouble.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great way to use the sketch, Dena. As a lifelong seamstress and quilter, I love your idea with yarn. So clever. Thank you for playing along at Double Trouble.
