Paper Piecing Thank You

Sometimes fussy cutting is very therapeutic.  I actually love cutting things out, and paper piecing is one of my favorite techniques. So I was delighted to see it as the Just Us Girls Challenge this week.
My card uses a Close To My Heart paper - Surf's Up. The Thank You sentiment is a mini stamp from the current catalog. (M1029 only $2.95!)

This little card also uses dry embossing (scored the bottom panel @ 1/4" ) and sanding.  CTMH card stock is white core producing a great result with sanding.

  1. Very pretty card! Love that your paper pieced "you" matches your background paper...really cute! Thanks for joining us at Just Us Girls!

  2. FUN use of the technique -- way to think outside the norm :) Thanks for playing with JUGS!

  3. Excellent way to use that stamp, and to use up scraps, too! You've given me a great idea for a bunch of thank-you cards!

  4. Great idea to paper piece the letters! Love your card and the way your sentiment matches your background. Thanks for playing with us at JUGS!

  5. Yes I do agree ..something about cutting is very relaxing...of course you have to have good scissors too! Thanks for joining us this week over at Just Us Girls! Hope to see more of your work!

  6. Dena, I DID copy your card and acknowledged you as the source of the inspiration, here:
