D2D Flowers - a tiny bit of summer left...

Got to love the Internet....when it works. Mine has been off for a week! It's been very difficult trying to get repairs. Hopefully, it will stay fixed this time. During the week my brand new Close to My Heart products arrived and I have begun playing with those and should have some things to share soon.

This week's digital image from Designed to Delight was so easy to work with, and lends itself to clean & simple. I made several cards and they all looked great. Check them out and enjoy!

These use CTMH card stocks: New England Ivy, Goldrush, Black, and Sweet Leaf. I printed the image on 120 weight watercolor paper. On the top card, I used opaque pearls for the centers of the flowers - I was hoping for a sunflower look.

  2. Hi Dena, I came by here because Brenda Frerichs, whom I think has fantastic talent, thinks you have a great talent also. I haven't seen a lot of your blog so far, but what I have seen makes me want to see more so I have signed on as a follower. I especially like following CTMH consultant's blogs. I have been with CTMH for four years now, but mostly as a hobbyist. I work as a bookkeeper in an elementary school and have tremendous respect for teachers, even more so for high school teachers. My son just graduated in May - woo hoo. I know have 3 adult children. I will be stopping in occasionally to check out and probably CASE some of your inspired artwork.
