Treasured Friend

This beautiful sketch at Freshly Made Sketches - #371- I have been wanting to get to for a few days.  There was a new die waiting to be cut, and when I saw the sketch, it seemed just right.  I cut two of the Elizabeth Craft Leafy Branch 5 out of slightly different green card stocks. They were distressed with Peeled Paint Distress ink.  On the Olive card base (5 1/2" square), I used the same ink and the 'Flowing Drops' stencil from Altenew for the background.  Ribbon is from my Stampin Up! stash, sentiment from a CTMH retired set called Friendship Bouquet. Inside, I used distress ink to create the leafy branch using the negative cut as a stencil, and another small font sentiment that says "your friendship means so much to me."

  1. I am a sucker for monochromatic cards; this is the loveliest shade of green! Your card is so pretty and will certainly be cherished by the friend who receives it. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
