Atlantic Hearts SC 618

 I had fun foiling for this card!  Using Gina K Designs Delicate Dahlias polyglaze and dies for the florals and sentiment; did some stenciling with Light and Medium Lilac inks. The patterned paper is from a long retired CTMH pack and fit the sketch just right.  I used Master Layouts 2 to cut the stitched panel and mat. I discovered that it's hard to take photos of cards with foiling :-(  So much nicer in real life.

Loved this sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and glad I finally found some time to use it this morning.  

I inked Altenew's Mega Bloom stencil with their Lapis Lazuli set of inks. Then without removing the stencil I stamped SSS You Matter background with white pigment ink, and added some dots with a gel pen.  The dots gave me an idea to die cut with Altenew's Mix and Match Frames. The sentiment was white heat embossed their Iceland Poppies Paint-A-Flower set, and I used ink to color the paper strip to match.

Try A Sketch On Tuesday

I used a piece of a stencil background from my collection box, part of a Savvy die for the sentiment, and lots floral elements cut from scraps with Spellbinder's Be Bold Blooms for a very colorful take on the sketch.

Birthday Wishes

 

Used a little ink smooshing and cut it with Gina K Botanical Duo. The patterned card stock was from a magazine, the twine from a gift wrapped package. 

I do like repurposing items!

Have a Heart

 

Using up some patterned paper from my Valentine scrap folder today - inspired by challenge #663 at                                     Try A Sketch On Tuesday.

The big hearts and sentiment are Gina K Designs Love Trio and Master Layouts 4 dies.  The small 'talkie' heart was fussy cut and stamped and heat embossed with a sentiment from a very old CTMH wooden set.

My card also inspired by Tic Tac Toe challenge 263 where I have used the top row of hearts-designer papers-love sentiment

White on White

 Sympathy cards are the most difficult to make for me. My card today uses a white on white design inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #671 and Double d Challenge.

I embossed with a folder called Whimsy and made horizontal strips with a Stampin' Up border punch and thin piece of silver card. The Gina K Designs sentiment was foiled with silver.
