A new challenge at Try A Sketch On Tuesday
My design team inspiration card uses a sweet image and sentiment from a MFT, Great Adventure Bears stamp and die set that I have had for many years. The papers are from my stash folders as well. I imagine they are in the clouds looking down - so the map paper for the back panel seemed appropriate. lol
My favorite way to color with Copic markers is to stamp with a very light ink in the Misti, color, and then return the card to the Misti and stamp again in Versafine black. I added some Wink of Stella shimmer to the stars. This card will go to a friend who has gotten through surgery and chemo and has just begun radiation.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you will play along and also check out the sister challenge at Double Trouble.

Your card is perfect for your friend in treatment, Dena! The images are so sweet. Great sentiment, too.
ReplyDeleteDena, what a sweet "hang in there" card for your friend! So clever in your choice of papers, too. I had never thought about using your technique for coloring with Copic markers. I love the Vesafine ink for degree of blackness, so your approach is a great way to overcome the incompatibility between the two types of ink. I'll definitely keep this in mind for my next coloring adventure! I'm sure your card will be a great inspiration for our TSOT followers!! -Donna
