Plaid Christmas

The new sketch at Try Stampin' On Tuesday has an option of using plaid.  That's a look I thought would be really pretty for a Christmas card and I had just the scrap to use!

I cut several of the trees from Gina K Designs Wonderland die set from white and mat gold to stack up.  As I've done before, I used the negative cut as a stencil, and did a little ink blending with CTMH inks for some trees in the background.  That small piece was edged with metallic gold paint and matted on a piece of charcoal textured card. The sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Holiday Greetings Mix I was gold heat embossed.

Check out the inspiration from the rest of the Design team at TSOT and join us there. We love visiting and seeing what you've created!

  1. The tartan gives a lovely seasonal feel Dena.

  2. Love those wonderful die cut trees and the super plaid paper.

  3. Fab holiday design, the stencilled trees adds so much depth to your scene.
