Hang In There

Inspired by Can You Handle the Pressure challenge - Clouds.

I have used the Darice clouds embossing folder. I inked one side of the folder with Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Oxide inks and embossed the panel cut with Gina K Designs Master Layouts 2.

The image and sentiment are from My Favorite Things, Best Adventure Bears.  I colored with alcohol markers and added some gel pen dots and Glossy accents on the stars.

Wishing You a Colorful Day

Sketch #602 at

Try Stampin' On Tuesday!

My Design Team card for this used the rainbow and the sketch.

I cut two of each color from scraps and glued them together for stability and then around the circle that would show behind the side panel. The sentiment was heat embossed. I cut the side panels using Gina K Designs Master Layouts 2. Inside sentiment says 'Wishing you a colorful day.'

Hope you will join the challenge!

Caring Friend

My Design Team inspiration for the new sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge features some new patterned paper from Echo Park and a flower and sentiment from Gina K Designs.  The die cut leaves are from Mama Elephant and My Favorite Things. I cut them out of white card stock and ink smooshed them with Gina K Light Spruce and Speckled Egg and Pine Needles Distress inks.

I hope you will visit AHSC and play along with this beautiful new sketch.

Thanks a Bunch

The flowers were stamped twice, water colored and die cut. They are from a retired CTMH set, A Bunch of Love and actually have a banner that I cut off so the flowers formed an oval frame. The oval was ink blended and more yellow blending around the flowers, with some splatter. The sentiment is also from that set.  The card was inspired by  Freshly Made Sketches #579

Happy

Having a quiet day after a busy week, and it has felt great to watch crafting videos, tidy up my space and play a little.  The challenge blogs really help me get going and to use things in my stash. I've listed them below.

Todays card uses some older patterned papers from my CTMH stash. So I paired the stripes with some dotted paper in the same shade of yellow. The piece of gray card stock was embossed with a twill stripes folder.  I stamped the Altenew Happy Eight image and then used the Artist Markers to color with a slight touch of gray, greens, and yellow. I fussy cut and popped it up with foam tape.  The sentiment is a preprinted strip. A few silver confetti to give some sparkle.

Linking to Creative Knockouts #491 -Use 2 or more patterned papers
Color Throwdown #736 - yellow, sage green, gray, white

Spring Garden Tulips

My design team inspiration card for challenge #722/23 at Allsorts.  The challenge will last for two weeks, and the theme is Anything Goes with option of "In the Spring Garden."

I heat embossed the Stamplorations image on a piece of patterned paper and then colored with Copics. The apertures were cut with rectangle dies and popped up on a white card base for a CAS design. The sentiment is from Gina K Designs Easter Spring set.

Wonderful prizes from OakwoodAALL and CreateStamp AddictsRuth Hamilton DesignAldridge Crafts. Prizes for all April challenges will be selected and posted April 28th.

I made another press on the stamp and patterned paper with black ink, but didn't finish it until later yesterday. I colored with Copics, matted with black card and put on a pink front. I really like it, and while the other is lovely in real life, this one is a bit more photogenic :-)
