My Design Team inspiration for #692 challenge at
I am in Japan visiting my son and doing a bit of travel as well. One of the things I have planned is the Spring Festival in Takayama. It's a very famous and busy event and I was so fortunate to have help finding hotels from a friend of my son who has been his tutor and travel agent for a long time. This card will be given to her with a thank you gift.
The panels are origami paper from my collection of Japanese papers. The embossing folder and fan die are from Spellbinders. The gold embossed sentiment is Gina K Designs. I am really pleased with how this turned out!

What a lovely card to give as a thank you.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great selection of Japanese papers... your card is so bright, cheerful and beautiful. I know you have a custom 3-2-1 recipe to share at Double Trouble's "Something, Anything, Everything"... hope to see you there to be eligible for Top 3 and/or random drawing.
ReplyDeleteDena, I hope you are having a wonderful visit with your son! There is so much to see while you are there. Your card is beautiful, and I know your son's friend will really appreciate it. Your are so talented!! -Donna
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Dena! I love the fan as your focal point. Lovely patterned papers, too.
