Wacky Wednesday #9

Over at Catch the Bug and PCP there is a challenge every Wednesday...yes, I know it is Friday but I'm still catching up! This week it was a sketch. I had fun pairing this Bugaboo image and Zippidee CTMH papers. The colors used are CTMH Indian Corn Blue, Cranberry, and Honey.

OLW 61 Clouds!

(click image to see it larger)

We had two glorious days of Sunshine....so it was difficult to think about clouds on Wednesday.

But today the sun must pop in and out between big puffy clouds and I am ready to play Jen's challenge. I used CTMH Over the Rainbow stamp set, and TLC set for the smaller cloud. I inked them in Grey Flannel and then masked them to stamp the rainbows in Sunny Yellow, Baby Pink and Amethyst inks. Then I used the cloud masks to sponge around with Crystal Blue ink.
Enjoy your summer clouds or not :=)

FTL 147 Baby Boy

Love those Clean & Simple challenges...this looked very easy, but I had quite a time thinking about the circles...once this card was done I thought of other ideas using my citrus fruit stamps...will post that later perhaps.

All products used are CTMH: Happy Holidays stamp set; Bamboo and Crystal card stocks and inks, Chocolate, Baby Pink, and Sweet Leaf inks; designer paper from the Miracle collection.

Summer Breeze

Yes, I am thinking a lot about the beach lately! This set called Summer Breeze from Close To My Heart is so lovely I just keep making cards with it. (Another recent post used the sentiment from this set.) This was colored softly with Prisma pencils.

Happy Birthday, Debbie!

It's Debbie's birthday, and she is hosting the Saturday Challenge at Designed 2 Delight - "It's my party" Hope you have a fabulous weekend :-)

The candle stamp comes from the Fanfare Workshop on the Go (CTMH) and the sentiment is from Wordworth Mark Twain collection.

More D2D Flip Flops

This time I used some Spellbinders dies, Bamboo and Lagoon card stock (CTMH), and added a charm from my favorite Port Townsend bead store with some ribbon from the stash. Love this image drom Designed to Delight this week! (click image to see detail)

D2D Flip Flops = Essence of Summer

Summertime always meant the beach when I was growing up. My family traveled to Little Compton, RI and spent one or two weeks sunning and swimming at Sakonnet Beach. It was heaven. As a teenager I spent the better part of two summers there as an au pair. Many special memories. I've been waiting for a chance to use this wonderful sentiment from Close to My Heart (Summer Breeze, C1453), and this week's image challenge at Designed2Delight was a perfect match.

Products: D2D Flip Flops digital image; sentiment CTMH Summer Breeze; Colonial White, Sky, Pacifica, and Bamboo card stocks CTMH; raffia.
