My card uses some papers from my stash, a thought bubble die from My Favorite Things, not sure where that hello came from though. 

There are some fun sister challenges at Double Trouble that offer lots of inspiration with their 3-2-1 recipe and optional twists with this sketch.

Year of the Horse

 My son was born in the Year of the Horse, so this set from Spellbinder's was perfect for a card for him to celebrate Lunar New Year next week.  The card uses Gold, Horse, Deep Red card stock, and a heat embossed good fortune sentiment.

My design team inspiration for you today 

Atlantic  Hearts Sketch Challenge #668

My card uses Gina K Designs Cheerful Flowers kit bundle - layered stencil, embossing folder, die cuts. The sentiment is from her Lovely Flowers set. Inks used are the Lilac trio,  Spruce trio, and Butterscotch.

Just Sayin'

 Needed some design inspiration for a birthday card for a fun friend who is going to be 90 next week. She loves plaid, and I always try to include some in her card. So Freshly Made Sketches challenge was just right. I used a embossed piece for a back panel, and my newest Cath Z sentiment set.  

I also got some design inspiration from Festive Friday #202. I used pink, lilac, and die cuts. The colors gave me a fresh, more spring like color for the plaid.

When I saw this sketch for Try A Sketch On Tuesday, I saw an ampersand!

Lucky for me, I have one in my Spellbinder's die stash. Everything here with the exception of the heart comes from that set, Sentimental Ampersand. It was Jan '23 small die of the month. 

I used my scraps folders for all the little pieces.

Cherry Chic

 

Inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #721

The side panel is stenciled with Spellbinder's Cherry Chic stencil (Nov '25 stencil of the month), and Gina K Designs inks. Sentiment and oval dies are also Gina K.

The cherry die cut is a Cottage Cutz I've had in my stash for a really long time. I inked it with the same Gina K inks.

This will go to a friend with a note - a happy memory of making cherry pies together.

Chinese New Year

 Inspired by AAA Card Challenge today.  It's "Follow My Lead" and Francesca has the lead. So I used her card as a starting point and created a Happy New Year card using some lantern dies and origami paper from my stash, and a sentiment from a new Spellbinder's set, Good Fortune Horse.

Blue Flowers

 Used the Tic Tac Toe challenge as inspiration as I created this fun fold.  I used the middle vertical line Blue-Free-Stencil as I selected papers, stencil and inks for this W-fold Pop-out card.  I used papers from my stash - a long retired CTMH pattern, Pale yellow and Twilight card stock.  The stencil, inks, and sentiment are Gina K Designs.

The Great Outdoors

Challenge #687 at Try A Sketch On Tuesday

My design team inspiration for you uses a Gina K Designs set, The Great Outdoors, to create a birthday card for my son.

Here in the PNW there are some beautiful golf courses with mountains in the distance. This card is very similar to the one Gina K made when demonstrating the set last year.  I've created several versions for my golfing friends.

Try A Sketch On Tuesday

I admit this one really had me scratching my head...those squiggles... but you will find LOTS of great inspiration on the blog.  Each of the Design Team had a different idea. So fun!

I used a Simon Says Stamp set Yarn Love that I've had for quite a while now. I inked with Gina K colors to match some twines I have.   The back  panel was embossed with Spellbinders Sweater Weather folder.
