Thinking of You

It has been fun to play with a set from Lawn Fawn, Fab Flowers.  I had finished recreating a card seen at my local craft shop, and was left with a piece of card stock with these butterfly cut outs....I don't have any of those beautiful background die cuts because they are so costly; so I wasn't about to toss this sheet I'd created. I did some ink blending with Ripe Persimmon and Spiced Marmalade on glossy paper before matting the butterfly sheet on top. My photography skills are not great. The blended colors are a bit more vibrant in person, and also have that gloss from the paper. The sentiment from an older CTMH set was heat embossed. The Sunset card stock is also from CTMH.

This was perfect timing for both Less Is More #366 'Monochrome' theme and
AAA Card Challenge #110 "Ombre'. 

 

St. Patrick's Day

It's use your stash day here as I am trying to justify getting some new things!  Such a good feeling to use up some products and have some happy mail to send out.
This is a card that got inspiration from the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #254.
